To enable and support individuals to reach their full positive mental wellbeing in a culture where
there is no stigma
Fife Employment Access Trust (FEAT) was set up in 1994 by a small group of people concerned about the lack of employment opportunities for people in Fife who had experience of mental health problems. Some of this group had personal experience of mental ill health - and were all too aware about the problems of finding a job and the stigma that prevailed. Today, we have 29 years of experience of directly supporting people with mental health problems to find and sustain work, as well support for those who need some help in managing their conditions to begin their journey to work.
This film was produced by the Centre for Social Justice to mark our Award received in March 2019 and charts William's story:
Work-focused programme for people with severe mental health conditions. If you want to work, this service is for you!
A range of practical hands-on volunteering and training opportunities within our base at Silverburn Park and additional 1:1 and group employability and personal development support.
We also have a thriving activities programme at the Park focusing on the heritage of the Park and the B-listed former flax mill
