Find about FEAT at Silverburn Park in this 3-minute film featuring staff and volunteers or scroll down this page for further information about our plans.
Once home to the Russell Family, Silverburn Park was gifted to the town council in 1973 and for many years ran as an animal farm, a craft centre and hosted campers and a range of events.
The activities and buildings closed during the 1990s. In 2019 FEAT Trading CIC (the subsidiary trading company of Fife Employment Access Trust) signed a lease agreement with an aim to regenerate the park for a sustainable future.
Our Mission
"To develop Silverburn as a place of quiet enjoyment, supporting the health and wellbeing of the community, and respecting the habitat and biodiversity of the environment."
Further details are available at the dedicated Silverburn Park website
A 2-minute introduction to our plans to regenerate Silverburn Park in Leven with a range of community and commercial activities, and a call to help us raise the funds to make it all happen!
(Since this film was made we have secured the vast majority of the funding to make the renovations possible and work started in 2023 with a planned completion date of March 2026!)

BBC Scotland's "Landward" team came to Silverburn Park in 2021 and spoke with staff and volunteers about our vision, progress and ongoing developments to regenerate Silverburn Park and the historic Flax Mill. See our feature on the BBC IPlayer.
As well as this TV feature, the Park has a you tube channel featuring an array of short films including the community art installation "Lantern Journeys"; the official opening ceremony for the Campsite (recognised in 2021 as the Best in Scotland by the Prestige Awards) and a series of tree talks giving you a better understanding of the natural heritage in the Park.
